Academics at First Christian Academy

At First Christian Academy (F.C.A.), our academic program is designed to educate the whole student—mind, body, and spirit—while preparing them for real-world success and Christ-centered living. Alongside core subjects, students explore enriching electives that help them discover their God-given talents.

Our elective offerings include STEAM, Career Exploration, Volunteer Opportunities, Computer Skills, Music, Art, Yearbook, Physical Education, and Life Skills. These courses foster creativity, practical skills, leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility and service.

S.T.E.A.M.

Our STEAM elective (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in a hands-on learning environment. Students explore real-world problems through innovation, collaboration, and project-based learning that connects classroom concepts to everyday life.

Career Exploration

For grades 6–8, Career Exploration helps students discover God-given strengths, interests, and potential career paths through lessons, hands-on activities, guest speakers, and real-world connections.

Volunteer Opportunities

This elective cultivates a heart of service, compassion, and leadership through school, church, and community projects — living out faith through action.

Computer Skills

Students gain essential digital literacy — typing, word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, research, and safe, ethical internet use — grounded in responsible, Christ-centered technology use.

Music

Students explore and develop God-given musical talents through vocal training and creative, encouraging instruction.

Art

Students explore creativity as a reflection of God’s creative nature through drawing, painting, design, and more.

Yearbook

Students capture and celebrate the memories, milestones, and everyday moments that make our school community special.

Physical Education
