About First Christian Academy

Who We Are

First Christian Academy is a Christ-centered school in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade—and exploring opportunities to grow into high school (9–12). We are proud members of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

As Crusaders, our students are known, valued, and challenged to grow in faith, character, and academic excellence. Every classroom and relationship is shaped by the belief that children are created by God and gifted with purpose.

The Mission

To partner with parents, the church, and the community to build the moral and spiritual foundation in the lives of children through Christian education.

Discipleship & Parent Partnership

We believe discipleship is most powerful when home and school walk together. FCA comes alongside parents—never replacing them—to support the faith formation already happening in the home. Teachers and staff partner with families and the local church so students learn through a biblical lens, grow in character, and develop confidence rooted in Christ.

Faith is not an add-on at FCA; it is the foundation. From our youngest learners through middle school, we nurture curiosity, compassion, and a strong Biblical foundation that equips students to lead with integrity.

Read our Statement of Faith to learn more about the beliefs that guide everything we do.
